June 18, 2016 Game News Update – E3, Oculus Exclusive Controversy, How to Try PSVR Early

This has been quite the week for game news- the Electronic Entertainment Expo has come and gone, having left behind a whole mess of trailers, announcements and more- to help you sort it out, this week’s episode of Game News Update is an hour-long extravaganza- we go over all the biggest and best stuff from E3- we also have a lot of news that’s not from E3, such as the current controversy regarding Oculus VR trying to buy up more exclusives, how you can try the Playstation VR early and the latest updates to hit Overwatch– and where the game’s director says it’s going in the future.

If you’re looking for a convenient list of where you can demo the Playstation VR before it’s released, we have it right here; in case you missed the news, Sony is bringing the Playstation VR all over North America for demonstrations- be sure to find out when and where to try it, since it’ll be a while before it launches.

If you came seeking a free Xbox One game, Limbo is available for free as a sort of promotion of Playdead’s next game, Inside; here’s a link to the Xbox store. You may have to log in for the game to appear as free.
If you’re a PC gamer, we’ve got you covered with Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, which is currently part of Ubisoft’s Club Ubi promotion; just log in here with your uPlay account and claim the game. I’m sorry, it does require uPlay but hey, it’s free.

Don’t forget that we’re giving away a Steam key for Steamworld Dig– just let us know what you thought about E3 this year to enter to win. Be sure to hit us up and follow @Blackmannrobin on Twitter for all the latest game news, reviews, previews and interviews; follow me for my own views.
