TV News: The First Episode of The Cipher Effect is Now Live- It’s Worth Watching

TV News: The First Episode of The Cipher Effect is Now Live- It’s Worth Watching

I’ve always had a love for time travel. Back to the Future, Doctor Who, Primer (which I hope to completely understand one day), time travel makes for wonderfully fascinating fiction. Is there any room for something new? There should be just enough for The Cipher Effect. The first episode just went up on Youtube, and according to it’s description it’s a “sci-fi web series with wormholes, time travel, serial killers, beings outside space and time, secret organizations and the end of the world!” Quite a mouthful. Having seen the first episode, I can honestly say that I think the rest will be... Read On

Now if only he would do a LEGO Walking Dead then we’d be in business. Tell me that game wouldn’t be hilarious. Read On

TV News: Defiance Debuts; SyFy May Have a Winner

If you’ve been watching the SyFy channel since the name change, you may have been a little disappointed as of late by the current programming- ghost hunting, haunted thrift stores and “pro” wrestling seem to have been dominating as of late. Not to say that there’s nothing worthwhile on SyFy (Warehouse 13 and Continuum seem to be pretty well received), but for the most part, they don’t have any real heavy hitters- quite the disappointment from the channel that once ran Ray Bradbury Theater. So what’s going on with Defiance? in short, there was an attack by a group of relatively... Read On
