TV Discussion: Revenge S1 Ep:14

TV Synopsis: The episode begins with the mailing of the wedding invitations. Emily Thorne(Emily VanCamp) is burning one of the tapes to a DVD and planing to give it to Charlotte Grayson(Christa B. Allen). This will expose the truth to Charlotte that David Clarke is her real father. Meanwhile Jack Porter(Nick Wechsler) is healing from his attack. While picking up some trash, he finds the tape the attacker had dropped under his bed. When Jack tries to contact Amanda Clarke(Margarita Levieva), Emily is the one who receives the message. She sends Nolan Ross(Gabriel Mann) to get it. When Nolan fails, she contacts Amanda and tries to use her. Amanda also failed in getting the tape from Jack. While this is occurring, Victoria Grayson(Madeleine Stowe) is dealing with the divorce and planning the engagement dinner. Victoria calls Conrad Grayson’s(Henry Czerny) father, Edward Grayson(William Devane). Edward shows up to met Emily and to get Conrad to settle the divorce discreetly. Conrad and Victoria agree to be civilized from now on. Emily shows up to the engagement dinner with the DVD and plans to give it to Charlotte. Jack is planning on watching the tape with Nolan. Nolan is planning on erasing the tape. All this falls apart. Nolan decides to not erase the tape and instead let Jack watch it. Jack then runs to see Amanda but she does not let him. Jack the heads to the engagement dinner. At the dinner, Emily decides not to give the DVD to Charlotte after overhearing a conversation between her and Conrad. Jack barges in and verbally attacks Victoria telling everyone about her affair with David. With this truth out, Conrad tells Charlotte that he is not her biological father, David is. With so much destruction, Emily heads home not sure what to do next. When she gets home she finds her secret hiding place has been broken into. Her box with all the evidence of her fathers innocence and all of her revenge plans is missing. All she finds in there is an invitation to the engagement party and the RSVP card checked off–”Miss Emily Thorne will attend”.

So the obvious question is who took the box? There are so many possibilities, but I think it is Amanda (the real Emily) who took it. She did say she was tired of lying to Jack about who she really is. What does anybody else think?
